DCJP Adds Meth Prevention to its Parent University Curriculum

DCJP recently participated in the Drug Endangered Children Conference in Lansing, MI, sponsored by the National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children and the U.S. Attorneys Offices for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Western District of Michigan. The focus of the 2-day conference was "Formula for Disaster: Methamphetamine." The conference addressed the devastating impact methamphetamine usage is having on homes, families, and lives throughout many cities in Michigan.

By adding, a Meth Prevention information section to its current Parent University curriculum, DCJP is working in partnership with the U.S. Attorney's office of the Eastern District of Michigan to increase public awareness and community education about the dangers of Meth and how parents can identify household products used in its production.
